AP CM convoy Issue: Andhra Pradesh authorities' behavior is once again controversial. Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy will visit Ongole on May 22. However, Ongole police overreacted to Jagan's visit. The Chief Minister is forcibly seizing cars going on the road for the convoy. In this background, the police took the car of Srinivas who was going to see Thirumala Srivari. Srinivas argued with the police about where to go if they stopped in the middle. The police did not show any mercy when told that they would get in trouble with the children in the middle of the night. Srinivas' family was on the road in the middle of the night when the car was locked by the police. Srinivas took his family members as he could not hear what was being said have gone back.
TDP president and former chief minister Chandrababu was outraged by the attitude of the police. Chandrababu said the forcible hijacking of people's cars by RTA officials for the Chief Minister's convoy was a testament to the brutal rule in the AP. Vemula Srinivas' car belonging to Vinukonda, who was going to visit Thirumala Srivari with his family, was locked up by the transport department officials. Chandrababu demurred that he had challenged the authority of the authorities to throw him on the road while he was traveling with his family members. The TDP chief said it was a shame to take public vehicles for the CM convoy.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Jagan was outraged over the incident where Ongole car was locked. Authorities have ordered an inquiry into the theft of a motorist going to Thirumala. The government took corrective action on the orders of the CM. The government has directed DTC Krishnaveni to take action against Home Guard Tirupati Reddy and Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector Sandhya, making them responsible for the incident. With this, the DTC issued orders to send the home guard to its own branch. Authorities are awaiting an inquiry into the role of AMV Sandhya.
