Robot Rat

In recent years scientists have developed many animals, from robotic fish to robotic dogs. Recently, however, scientists have developed a robotic mouse. Where and who made it? Let's see if it does the same thing.

Scientists at the Beijing Institute of Technology in China recently unveiled the 'Robot Rat'. Called the ‘Skuro (Small Size Quadruped Robotic Rat’), this four-legged robotic rat can walk like a real rat, bend its knees, and even move slowly. It can carry 91 percent of its body weight. It can contract its body and run fast even in very small gaps. Even if it falls, it can stand again.

Successful tests

Researchers have recently tested this robotic mouse in a variety of ways in the field. ‘It did its job successfully on a small, 3.5-inch-wide path with bumpy curves without being neat. It easily overcomes obstacles as high as 1.1 inches and proceeds without difficulty even at a slope of 15 degrees.

It also carried a payload that weighed 91 percent of its body weight, 'said its designers. They rejoiced that this robotic rat had actively done all the tasks assigned to it. The rat weighed about 220 grams and carried about 200 grams.

Where people can't go ...

Researchers also say that cats need to be included in any precautionary measures against the virus. Koo Da says it can be used for research as well. It was initially designed with chakras but was later fitted with legs to move more actively.
