He will reach the Palli Panchayat area in the Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir at 11 am on Sunday and will take part in various development programs. This is Prime Minister Narendra Modi's first full-scale visit to Jammu and Kashmir since the repeal of Article 370, which gives it independence. At the same time, Prime Minister Modi's visit has gained prominence in the wake of the recent developments in Kashmir. Going into the details of the Prime Minister's visit, he will reach Samba District Palli Panchayat in the morning and then participate in the National Panchayati Raj Day celebrations at 11:30 am. Prime Minister Modi will address all gram sabhas across the country. On this occasion, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate a 500-kilowatt solar power plant under the Palli Panchayat and dedicate it to the nation.

With the setting up of this power plant, Palli Panchayat will become the first carbon-neutral in the country, the Prime Minister's Office said. Later in Jammu and Kashmir Rs. Modi to inaugurate the Banihal-Khajigund road tunnel built at a cost of Rs 3,100 crore If the 8.45 km long tunnel between Banihal and Khajigund becomes available, it will reduce the road distance by 16 km and save a lot of time for motorists. Officials said it would save about an hour and a half of travel time. Later, Prime Minister Modi will lay the foundation stone for two hydropower projects at Ratley and Quar, which will be built on the Chenab River. The center will build the 850 MW Rattle Hydroelectric Project on the Chenab River in the Kishtwar district and the 540 MW Quar Hydroelectric Project.
