Wipro buys US company for Rs 4,000 crore


 

New Delhi: Software services giant Wipro Ltd has recently announced that it will acquire US company Rising Intermediate Holdings. Said it would own a full (100 percent) stake in the company. It will spend $ 54 crore (Rs 4,135 crore).

SAP (Shop) is said to be greatly improving its consulting capabilities. Wipro said Rising expertise in the IT industry, shop consulting capabilities in enterprise asset management, consumer industries, and human resource management experience will contribute to the company's progress. Thereby providing effective solutions to clients in the most complex shop transformations.

Wipro said the Rising acquisition deal would require antitrust approvals from competing laws in the US, Germany, and Canada. The deal is expected to be completed by June. Rising, which has operations in 16 countries, employs 1,300 people.
