Disconnect Gmail For Uninstalled Apps

Usually we install apps on our smartphones depending on our needs. We will delete them as soon as we need them. But even if the apps are deleted, the notifications related to them are sometimes irritating. Oops! We get confused as to why notifications are coming even if the apps are uninstalled. To prevent such problems from happening again, users will need to do more as soon as the apps are deleted. That's it!

The Gmail account is linked to the smartphone. If we delete more apps, we think the Gmail account attached to those apps will be disconnected. But that does not happen. This will easily leak all our personal information in Gmail. So after uninstalling the apps you have to manually delete the Gmail account connected to the apps on the smartphone.

Now we will learn how to delete Gmail connected to apps on a smartphone.

  • First go into phone settings
  • Then click on the Google option in the settings
  • Clicking on the 'Google' option will show an option called 'Google Apps' for Settings at the bottom. You need to click on that option.
  • If you click on it, an option called Connected Apps will appear.
  • Clicking on the 'Connected Apps' option will show you which apps are actively attached to Gmail. You can immediately disconnect your Gmail account by clicking on those apps.
