Russian attacks on Ukraine have been going on for more than two months. Thousands of soldiers and civilians have already been killed in these attacks. Despite repeated peace talks between the two countries, they failed.
Meanwhile, President of Ukraine Zheleznikov advised Russian soldiers and young people not to believe in the lies of Russian military commanders and go to war unnecessarily. He was incensed that young men without proper training were being forcibly sent to Ukraine, even knowing that they would be killed and wounded in the war. He told them not to step into their territory and lose their lives, but to stay in their own country.
Nancy Pelosi meets with Zelensky
Speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi met with Zhelensky in Kiev. Several U.S. lawmakers were also with her. Pelosi said he had come to thank Ukraine for fighting for freedom. He said he would support Ukraine until the end of the fighting. Nancy Pelosi's tour of Ukraine without prior notice has become a priority. She praised the people of Ukraine for facing the Russian invasion with courage and determination.
