Employee shock, central notices to Infosys!

It is learned that the employees' union has lodged a complaint with the Nascent IT Employees Senate (NITES) Center alleging that the leading tech giant Infosys has violated labor laws. However, the Union Ministry of Labor issued notices to Infosys regarding the complaint. According to the notices, the Infosys Center was involved in discussions with the Ministry of Labor. Those discussions are ongoing. IT employees are eagerly awaiting to know what decision will emerge from these discussions.

According to a notice sent to Infosys Group HR Division Head Krish Shankar, "On Thursday, it was decided to hold a joint discussion with the Chief Labor Commissioner of the Ministry of Labor and Employment on the issue of IT employees." Infosys officials as well as NITES representatives were invited to attend the talks, which will be held in the presence of the Ministry of Labor.

Speaking to national media, NITES General Secretary Harpreet Saluja said, "We have imposed restrictions on clients who have worked for Infosys while joining another company. He said this had to work in a competition control agreement. Nearly 100 Infosys employees who did not like the terms approached the union.

Infosys, meanwhile, has imposed a new rule on all employees who resign from their company. Accordingly, resigned employees of Infosys should not work for six months in companies like TCS, Accenture, IBM, Cognizant, and Wipro. Infosys employees have lodged a joint complaint with the Union Ministry of Labor over the decision. The complaint alleges that Infosys violated Section 27 of the Contract Act. The Union Ministry of Labor is in talks with Infosys' management and representatives of the IT unions to resolve the issue.
