New Delhi: Domestic aviation fuel (ATF) rates have risen to record highs on the back of rising international fuel prices. Public sector fuel marketing companies raised the ATF rate by 3.22 percent on Sunday. With this, the price per kiloliter in Delhi will be Rs. 3,649.13, an increase of Rs. 1,16,851.46 (liter rate Rs. 116.8). This is the ninth consecutive year that ATF rates have been raised.
In Mumbai, the price per kiloliter is Rs. 1,15,617.24, while in Kolkata it was Rs. 1,21,430.48, while in Chennai it was Rs. 1,20,728.03. Rates vary from state to state based on local taxes. On the other hand, petrol and diesel prices remained unchanged for the 25th day in a row. Fuel prices for aviation fuel are adjusted daily for fifteen days, and petrol and diesel rates are adjusted daily, depending on international market rates.
