Leading tech giant Google has made a sensational decision. It has blocked 12 lakh apps, much to the chagrin of app developers. In 2021, Google announced that it had taken action against 12 million apps for violating the privacy policy of Playstore.
Google has found that there are a lot of apps on the Google Play Store that are peeking at people with instant loan apps. Attempted to check on such fraudulent, safe apps. 12 lakh apps banned. It also stopped 2 lakh apps suspected of being spam developers and another 5 inactive lakh apps.
Revealed that all the blocked apps are against their policies. Decided to remove them from the Play Store to ensure the security of their users. Google has also made it clear that it is constantly scanning for spam, malware, and dangerous apps.
