According to industry insiders, the Ionic 5 will be available in two variants a 58 kW pack and a 77.4 kW battery. These cars come with a dual motor configuration. It offers a mileage of 481 km on a single charge. It can travel at a maximum speed of 260 kilometers per hour. Can touch speeds of hundreds of kilometers in 5.2 seconds.
It is equipped with an 800V electric architecture system. With the help of a 350 kW charger, the battery can be charged up to 10 to 80 percent in 18 minutes. With the help of a 50-kilowatt charger, the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in 56 minutes.
Information that in terms of length, width, wheelbase, etc. may be more than an inch more than the Hyundai Tucson. Hyundai plans to launch a total of six EVs in India from entry to high end. The Ionic 5 will be the first vehicle to be released. Information that cars made in South Korea will be assembled in India.
